Hungry? Where to eat around the hotel.

All right, we’re just weeks away from the start of the Jane Austen Summer Program, and maybe you’re starting to plan your trip. Much of the JASP action is in Carrboro this year, amid plenty of dining options for hungry attendees. Where can you head for lunch, dinner or a snack?

Check out these options:

Casual

Armadillo Grill is fast and easy — and a short walk from the hotel — with a Tex-Mex menu of nachos, tacos and burritos. 120 E Main St.

The popular Weaver Street Market has quick healthy foods you can take away or eat on its patio. 101 E. Weaver St.

With casual Mexican fare, Carrburrito is popular for, well, its burritos. 711 W. Rosemary St.

Trendy

The Milltown Gastropub offers patio seating, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, and a wide selection of beer and an eclectic menu. 307 E. Main St.

Open for lunch and dinner, Tandem sources its modern American fare from local farms. Intriguing items on the menu: duck fat cauliflower and vanilla lavender panna cotta. 200 N. Greensboro St. (Carr Mill Mall)
